Nathan joined our Super Fast Track VTCT Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Barbering and in just a few short months, he has already secured a position as a trainee barber at Sophisticuts Hair Salon, based in Dereham. His quick transition from student to professional reflects his dedication and passion for barbering.
Nathan’s success is a testament to both his hard work and the intensive nature of the Fast Track program, which ran from March to July 2024. In this short period, Nathan gained the skills and qualifications necessary to enter the workforce as a self-employed barber. What makes his journey even more impressive is that he is already expanding his horizons by learning hairdressing skills at Sophisticuts. This initiative will not only broaden his client base but also further enhance his versatility in the hair industry.

Dylan Barrett-Lenon — From Learner to Business Owner in Just 6 Weeks!
We’re excited to share the incredible journey of Dylan Barrett-Lenon, another recent graduate of our Super Fast Track VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Barbering. In just six weeks, Dylan not only earned his professional qualification but also gained the confidence to open his own business- Halo Barbering.
Dylan had been gaining work experience in a barbershop for the past year, honing his skills and learning the craft. However, he needed a professional qualification to continue progressing in the industry. That’s when he enrolled in our Super Fast Track course, running from June to July 2024, which is designed to equip learners with the necessary skills and knowledge in the shortest possible time.
After completing the course, Dylan wasted no time putting his new skills to use. He has now launched his own business, a huge step in his career that was made possible by the intensive training he received.

Natasha Gilmore — A Complete Career Change to Doing What She Loves.
We’re excited to share the inspiring journey of Natasha Gilmore, who has undergone a complete career transformation since joining our VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Barbering course. In just a few months, Natasha has not only gained her qualification but has also secured a space at Atina Hair Salon in Brooke, where she is already putting her skills to great use.
Natasha started our January 2024 – July 2024 cohort, seeking a new direction in her career. Through hard work and dedication, she completed her Level 2 Diploma in Barbering, and she hasn’t stopped there. Natasha has already added Level 2 Hairdressing units to her portfolio and is set to start our Level 3 Hairdressing course in September to further expand her skillset and treatment range.
Her rapid progress and passion for learning have propelled her into an exciting new chapter, where she’s able to combine her love for barbering and hairdressing into a flourishing career.

Gabi Bayley — Expanding Skills and Building her business.
We’re proud to share the success of Gabi Bayley, who has made remarkable strides since joining our VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Barbering course in January 2024. Gabi embarked on this journey with the goal of expanding her skillset, and she has certainly achieved that—and more!
Gabi initially joined our January 2024 – July 2024 cohort to enhance her skills in barbering. However, her passion for learning didn’t stop there. She has also added Level 2 Hairdressing units to her qualifications, allowing her to offer a broader range of treatments and services to her clients. This diversification has given her the tools to grow her own business and provide a unique mix of barbering and hairdressing services.
As she continues to develop her skills, Gabi will be joining our Level 3 Hairdressing course in September, further cementing her expertise and opening up even more opportunities for her.
Gabi’s hard work and dedication have already paid off—she’s now working as a mobile Beauty/barber/stylist, offering a wide range of treatments to her clients. With the skills she gained from both the barbering and hairdressing courses, Gabi has been able to offer a diverse set of services, making her business, For you Beauty, more versatile and appealing to a larger clientele.
