With 40 years of experience in hairdressing, Sarah specialised in cutting and colouring for women. However, she felt the need to expand her skill set to include barbering. This led her to enrol in our fully funded VTCT Level 2 Barbering Diploma. As a self-employed mobile hairdresser, the course has proven invaluable to her career, enabling her to expand her knowledge and increase the services she can offer.
Sarah rates the impact of the Barbering Diploma on her career a 9 out of 10. She highlights the enriching learning experience and the confidence boost the course provided. “The best part of the course at NSHB has been the invaluable learning experience and the confidence it has instilled in me,” she shares.
The support and expertise of the tutors have been exceptional, contributing significantly to Sarah’s growth. She now aims to continue her mobile work and hopes to rent a barber’s chair on a part-time basis, expanding her services and client base.
