Yes you will be fully qualified in your chosen course as long as you pass all the assesments and theory exams.
Yes. After your course, you’ll be fully qualified to get a job within the industry. And many of our students have set up on their own and become self-employed.
We must differentiate between qualification and training. A qualification alone cannot make you a competent barber/hairdresser/beauty therapist. Good, practical training can. All our courses are very much hands-on treatments that can only be taught to a high level face to face. . You must adapt to every new client and situation, constantly varying your approach and method. Learning to do this confidently should be part of your training, and in our opinion, this can’t be taught in one or two days.
You must be age 16 at the time of your exam. For our beauty therapy course you must be aged 19 or over.
You’re never too old to enrol in a course with us. We have had many successful mature students. In fact, all our courses are a profession where maturity can be an advantage. We have students from 19 to over 60 – and a good mix of personalities too. People attracted to these courses love people and want to help them, which makes for a supportive learning environment. You’ll meet people from all walks of life with good balance of knowledge and experience in the classroom – we never stop learning!
No, we offer courses for all experience levels, including beginners and those who have a little experience. Some of our students wish to add to their existing skills, and people already working within the industry are welcome too.
A Level 2 qualification is equivalent to GCSE grade A*-C level
A Level 3 qualification is equivalent to A Level.
Yes as long as you have the relevant student visa to be able to study in the UK, you are welcome to join us.

We don’t offer accommodation, but Norwich has a wealth of accommodation on offer, but this would be at your own expense.

Yes, you’re free to work where you want and charge what you want.
Yes, after your exams, and upon completion of each module, you’ll receive your VTCT Diploma Certificate or ITEC Certificate.
Yes. Both ITEC and VTCT are professionally recognised and highly regarded qualifications.
Yes, home is an important part of the course and we ask you to complete assignments at home. However long you spend in the classroom, we would expect you to spend the same amount of time again at home working on theory and practical homework.
Funding is available for eligible students studying on our Level 2 Beauty Therapy Diploma and our level 2 Barbering Diploma
Simply fill in the application form at the bottom of the course page online, and secure your place with a payment. Alternatively, you can come in and take a look around before you decide. Just call us to make an appointment.

Yes, the courses are designed for you to mix and match. We run daytime and evening courses to suit you.
Usually one or two at a time, depending on your lifestyle. We want all of our students to get the very most out of their time with us. This is something we can discuss with you personally so we can work with your schedule.
Yes all of our students are required to wear a uniform. We set a high standard for our school and expect our students to represent this. The uniform is: t-shirt depending on the course (details will be sent to you upon enrolment) with black trousers or a skirt. You’ll need to provide the uniform yourself.
Yes. All students are required to take part in all practical parts of the syllabus. You’ll be supervised at all times by a member of our highly trained teaching staff. It’s very beneficial for students to experience the treatments they will be performing firsthand.
We accept payment by credit or debit card, Paypal, bank transfer or cash.

Our courses are very popular, so we suggest you sign up well in advance of the start date. We do have places that become available at short notice, so it’s always worth giving us a call to see if there’s been a cancellation. There’s no harm in asking!
We’ll try our best to book you onto the next available course. The majority of courses run 2-3 times a year.
That’s ok, but please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer the place to someone else. All payments are non-refundable.
In the unlikely situation of this happening, you’d be able to retake your exams. Our tutors carefully monitor your progress throughout the course and do their best to make sure you have acquired all the necessary skills to pass first time.
You are required to get a mark of at least 60% in your ITEC exam an 70% in your VTCT exam to pass the course.
