Power up your career with the VTCT Level 4 Diploma in Salon Management. This is an advanced salon training course that has been specifically designed for existing or aspiring salon managers. This qualification is suitable for hairdressers, barbers, beauty & massage therapists, makeup artists and nail technicians.
You will cover all the required elements to work effectively as a salon manager. This qualification will allow you to develop both management and technical skills required for the role of hair & beauty salon manager. There are six units in this qualification, including: management of health, safety & security, quality management of client care, sales management, public relations, salon management and marketing.
You are expected to hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline, or significant industry experience prior to undertaking this qualification.
Throughout this qualification you will plan the management of products and services for your salon by; analysing data for planning purposes, set operational objectives, monitor working practices, evaluate stock control and equipment levels, and provide recommendations to increase salon revenue. You will research, monitor, and recommend improvements to ensure the health, safety and security, the quality of client care and management of sales for your salon.
This is a Level 4 qualification so you will need to demonstrate research skills, academic writing, and independent learning. Initial input and guidance will be provided by the tutor, both in the school environment and online.
Theis Level 4 Salon Management course is delivered through a blended learning approach. This is a combination of traditional classroom teaching (face-to-face) and online learning/independent study with regular 121 support sessions with your tutor. Recommended self-study per week is 8/10 hours.
