Sam

Principal

Sam believes in dreaming big & chasing your potential! Having started the school in 2008, it has grown no end since then with the team and courses on offer increasing with each passing year.

Leaving school with no GCSEs but a passion to work in the industry, Sam started an apprenticeship in Hairdressing after her chosen Beauty Therapy course had no spaces left. Following this, Sam traveled the world cutting hair for extra money & working on sailing yachts from Greece to Australia before returning to the UK to work as a barber & later completed a BA Honors Degree in 2009. Her diverse experiences in life means she can offer invaluable empathy and advice to her students, guiding them through each step of their respective journeys.

Sam says that “watching people grow is so rewarding” and feels immense pride for the success stories that have come out of NSHB. Sam is always doing a course as she is a true believer in learning something new. A lover of motivational quotes, her favourite is “have courage, be kind”.
